I created these two pieces while sitting and watching my favorite guilty pleasure show, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It is like a train wreck, I just cannot stop watching it.
I bought a cute little pendent and I wanted to create necklaces on silk cording. I had some green faceted glass beads and some copper colored silk cording that matched the metal on the pendent. I made this necklace 16" long. I wanted the pendent to lay at the base of my neck.
The longer necklace is made from Green Aventurine cylindar bead with tiny pearls on each side of the bead. It is knotted on brown silk cording. I made this necklace really long so so that I could wrap it several times around my neck. I put a silver toggle clasp on it and often wear the clasp in front and part of the design.
I really love to create jewerly. I don't sell my jewelry, I just make it for myself, for presents and occasionally I dontate my pieces for non-profit raffle prizes. I started creating jewelry 8 years ago. I find it very relaxing and I am proud of the pieces that I make.
